mem property management, a top-rated New Jersey property management company, recently hired Steven Schlau as its new senior property manager. Steven began his professional career managing a substantial portfolio of apartment buildings, multi-family homes, offices and boutique hotels, while overseeing a staff of approximately 40 employees for a prominent New Jersey property management company.

Steven’s subsequent professional experience includes several years as a portfolio property manager, for another well-known full-service property management firm focusing on New Jersey cooperatives, condominiums and HOAs. In these demanding roles, Steven was responsible for over 1100 units, coordinating site inspections and common area improvement projects, budget planning, project management of several complex multi-million dollar capital improvement projects and collaboration with a diverse team of attorneys, accountants, engineers and others.

As senior property manager at mem property management company, Steven will have management responsibility for the day-to-day operations of a number of residential properties throughout New Jersey. Steven’s key areas of oversight will include managing and delegating maintenance staff and contractors, property repairs and maintenance and owner and board relations.
